New Chitose Airport

New Chitose Airport

New Chitose Airport is one of the main hub airports in Japan like Fukuoka and Naha accommodating the second largest volume of the domestic air passengers, in addition to playing a vital role as the hub for the air transport network of Hokkaido. As these hub airports are recognized extremely important for the air transport in Japan, a wide range of work has been conducted for improvement of their efficiency and functionality.

JAC has been involved in work on the domestic and international terminals at New Chitose Airport from the initial planning stages, and we continue to work on detailed designs and improvement planning. JAC has also been involved in airport layout planning and other aspects of the international route expansion in recent years, working to improve functionality and quality in everything from the master plan to maintenance and management operations.

In recent years, JAC participated in the planning and design of the international passenger terminal building and design for refurbishment of the domestic passenger terminal building. JAC has also been involved in planning and design for improvement of the taxiway system.
